Overnight stay at Golden Star Beach Hotel – Negombo
Negombo / Anuradhapura
After Breakfast visit St. Mary’s church in Negombo and thereafter proceed to Munneswaram.

Visit Munneswaram Hindu Temple.
Munneswaram temple is an important regional Hindu temple complex in Sri Lanka. It has been in existence at least since 1000 CE, although myths surrounding the temple associate it with the popular Indian epic Ramayana, and its legendary hero-king Rama. The temple is one of the ancient Pancha Ishwarams dedicated to Shiva in the region. This Hindu temple is also known as a tourist spot.
On completion transfer to Anuradhapura. Lunch at local restaurant – Payment direct by the client.

Evening visit Anuradhapura ancient city including Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and Isurumuniya.
Anuradhapura was made the first capital of Sri Lanka by King Pandukhabaya in the 4th century and it so remained till the 11th century BC known as the longest serving capitals, famous in ancient and modern times. Anuradhapura is a beautiful picturesque town located along a river bank which is popular for the fascinating ancient ruins and deep rooted Buddhist culture.
There is plenty to see in Anuradhapura from ancient trees like the Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest tree in the world, to ancient monasteries and ruins of historical importance. Anuradhapura is one of the eight historical heritage sites in Sri Lanka.
Isurumuniya is most famous for the stone carving of a couple located there. This carved stone was found in the royal pleasure garden and brought here. There are many interpretations for this carving. There is a viharaya connected to a cave and above is a cliff. A small stupa is built on it. It can be seen that the constructional work of this stupa belong to the present period. Lower down on both sides of a cleft, in a rock that appears to rise out of a pool, have been carved the figures of elephants. On the rock is carved the figure of a horse. The carving of Isurumuniya lovers on the slab has been brought from another place and placed it there. Isurumuni Lovers Isurumuniya Lovers-Pem-Yuwala-Dutugemunu’s son Saliya and the law caste (Sadol Kula) maiden Asokamala whom he loved 6th Century Gupta style carving.

The northern peninsula of Sri Lanka which is rising again after decades of war still has the signs of a ward damaged area which is slowly flourishing. Jaffna is one of the best places to learn about Sri Lankan Tamil culture. It is rising in popularity as a tourist destination in recent years. There are plenty of interesting places to see in Jaffna including the Jaffna Fort of which largely ruins remain was one of the greatest fort built by the Dutch in Asia. The famous Nallur Kandasamy Kovil, Naga Pooshani Amabal Kovil, Kadurugoda temple are some of the historically known places in Jaffna.

Evening engage Trincomalee city Tour including the visit to Thirukoneswaram Temple, and the Hotel wells
Trincomalee is situated in the Trincomalee district. The famed Trincomalee harbor is also located here. Further, many historical kovils are found here, visited by many hindu and Buddhist devotees. The famous hot springs, whale watching, clean and shallow beaches are some of the other tourist attractions. Nilaveli is situated on the North West of Trincomalee and has one of the best beaches. Tourist industry is blooming here once again after the end of the civil war. Airforce and domestic airport is found at China Bay in the South West part of Trincomalee.

Trincomalee / Kandy (Approx. 4 ½ hrs)
Breakfast at hotel, then leave to Kandy.
En route visit Dambulla Cave Temple and its beautiful sights.
Dambulla is a popular tourist destination in Sri Lanka. The popular cave temple complex in Dambulla dated to the 2nd century BC is declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. There are over 80 caves in Dambulla, some of which are used for meditation by monks. The Famous Rock temple has five separate caves containing 153 magnificent Buddha statues, 3 statues of Sri Lankan monarchs and 4 Hindu deities. The Iron wood Forest (Namal Uyana) the ancient garden with a wide variety of plants built in the 10th century and Rose Quarts Mountain range which is 500 million years old cannot be missed while in Dambulla.
Thereafter proceed to the beautiful and historical city Kandy.

Then Check in to hotel and relax. Evening Visit Kandy Temple of tooth and see a Cultural Dance.
Kandy the popular charming hill capital of Sri Lanka is surrounded by hills, valleys,rivers, lakes and waterfalls. It is the cultural center of the island and a UNESCO heritage city. The sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined at the Dalada Maligawa, the temple of the tooth. While in Kandy, a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens is a must where you can see around 4000 species of plants. The arts and crafts center in Kandy, the main Buddhist monasteries Malwatta and Asgiriya Monasteries are places that must be visited. Kandy is a great place for souvenir shopping and to learn about its rich culture and history.
Then see a Sri Lankan traditional cultural show.
On completion return back to hotel.

Colombo city tour including Gangaramaya Temple, Old Parliament, St. Anthony’s Church, Independent Square, Galle Face Green, BMICH and Shopping malls.
The busiest place in Sri Lanka is Colombo, the commercial capital of the country. Colombo is a beautiful city with modern high rise buildings amidst old colonial ones making it a picturesque place. Colombo offers a lot for the tourists including the National Museum and the Zoological Gardens in Dehiwala which are worth a visit. Galle Face Green in Colombo, the favourite hangout spot for locals and tourists alike overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean and surrounded by tall beautiful buildings. Viharamaha Devi Park with tall flowering trees which bloom during April is a quiet serene place in the middle of the busy city. Colombo is also a shopper’s paradise with posh shopping malls and the famous Pettah market.
